Newspaper article, ITV report and newsletter article added to media
Added a new “Media” category with new menu items for “Newspaper & Magazine” and “Televsion”.
Added 3 new media items relating to Malcolm’s recent memorial stone dedication: Chronicle newspaper article, ITV television report, and an article in the Battle of Britain Historical Society newsletter.
Sheffield RAFA are orgnising a Battle of Britain Remembrance Service in Barkers Pool Sheffield this coming Sunday 18th 2022 at 1400hrs. As events oirganiser I am waiting a decision by HQ Cadets if they can support it with a parade of 25+ cadets. If they say no due to the mourning we do not have a parade and I will lay the wreath myself. Malcolm Ravenhill is of course the only Battle of Britain pilot trhat we have been able to discover was born and raised in Sheffield. One other, Shepley came from Holmsfield and another had a mother living in Sheffield but seemed to be raised down South. If you know of any others please let me know and I will add them to Malcom’s name and read them out on Sunday.
